Visit a reindeer herder

Welcome to visit our private reindeer corrall in our home. Here you will get the chance to feed the reindeer by your hand. Hear more about sami culture and the daily life in Sápmi. Inside our hut you will see sami handicrafts and hear more about sami culture. While sitting by the open fire, there will be served hot berry juice and you can also taste some traditional jerky and smoked reindeer meat.

Duration 1,5 h. Minimum 4 persons or full price.

Traditional reindeer sleigh ride

Welcome to the Northernmost reindeer farm in Finland, Lapland. Take a journey back to the old times and experience the authentic way to travel in Sápmi. Meet a Sámi reindeer herder Aslat-Jon at his home in Deatnu-river valley. There you will see and hear more about Sámi culture.

The reindeer sleigh ride goes by an old post road and is about 2,5 km long. After the sleigh ride, it´s nice to enjoy a hot berry juice by open fire. Reindeer sausages include to the price.

Ice-fishing tour by snowmobile and sledge

Learn the secrets of ice-fishing with us. We will start our journey up to hills of Nuorgam via snowmobile and sledge. To reach the fishes under the ice, we will drill a hole thru the ice. Waters in these lakes are crystal clear and you can actually see the fishes under the ice.

While fishing you will be served hot drinks and snacks. Reindeer sausages and winter gear include to the price.

Husky safari in Norway

Are you ready for dog sledding in breathtaking nature? We will drive by car to Norway to our friends family. Here you will meet their lovely dogs.

You meet real dog-mushers, who are willing to share their wisdom and stories about long-distance sled-dog-competitions. You meet people with a great sense of humor and musicality

Silent trip - duration 4 h, included 2 hour sledding, stories around an open campfire, drinks and snacks.

After the dog sledding we can stop by to a Norwegian village for a late dinner and do some shopping ( optional).
